Finance Manager - Regional

Key Relationships:

  • Internal -  CFO, Regional Manager America, General Managers, Head office (Controller , Treasurer, Credit, Internal audit)
  • External -  External auditors, Banks, Tax authorities 
Function:  

  • In charge of managing Finance Managers, representing the Group CFO in the region and ensuring that finance functions in the countries are properly organized, perform according to Group standards and are compliant with requirements. Business partner to the Regional Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize the finance function in the region, ensure that finance organization in the subsidiaries fits the business needs and correspond to internal control requirements.
  • Manage on a day to day basis the Finance Managers, ensure quality of reporting and budget together with consistency of policies and procedures throughout the region
  • Ensure that Cash, credit and tax exposures are properly managed and that no exposure is taken at local level without regional approval.
  • Animate and manage systems implementation in the region (Navision ERP, Hyperion HFM), ensure proper maintenance after implementation
  • Support the Regional Manager in the developments in the region, prepare and set up project teams for integration of new companies.

Requirements:

Experience:

  • Superior degree in accounting or finance, with strong experience (15 years) of finance and/or business controlling in a multi-country company, including finance team management.
  • Experience in distribution and logistics with exposure to different business cases.
  • Accounting and controlling background is an asset.

 

Skills:  

  • Familiar with ERP (Navision) and reporting tools (Hyperion HFM is a strong asset).
  • Fluent in local language and English is a must.
