Job Purpose:

Management and control of capital investment project about SHE, sustenance or expansion, fulfilling with Engineering standard in the execution of works, to maintain a control of costs, to fulfill the established budget and to implement and follow engineering and SHE standard in Plants and sites of Orica Nanling.

Accountabilities

• SHE: Ensure that company policies and initiatives in respect of SH&E are communicated and complied with

• Maintenance Management: Project Schedule tasks vs. plan; Maintenance cost compared to best practice.; Achievement of maintenance budge

• Human Resources: No of Eng related product quality problems No and severity of breakdowns

• SH&E: Comply with all company and legal requirements

• Supply Logistics: Maintain optimum inventory levels in the location and quantity for lowest cost versus business continuity

• Distribution Logistics: Manage the movement of HONCE IS product across China at cost effective & efficiency way

• Purchasing: Delivery of lowest possible cost of supply for the business at the right quality and in time

• Customer Services: Contribute to making Orica the supplier of choice

Education/Experience

• University degree in Engineering (Mining or Chemical).

• Significant leadership experience forming engineering teams in related explosives or chemical industries. With a minimum of 5 years experience in a senior management position. Experience as engineer leader, maintenance and construction administrator and claim management, technical specialist and SHE regulations.

• Demonstrated understanding of cultural difference whilst ‘doing business’ and in managing people.

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent communication skills with ability to fluently speak English and Chinese

• Good command of legal regulations and internal mandatory policies
