Mechanical Engineer - Graduates

Responsibility

To Assist the Engineering Manager to maintain and improve the performance of HONCEmechanical equipment (including pneumatic controls, hydraulics system) to comform to Orica SHE and Engineering standards.

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to analyse problems and formulate solutions
• Ability to generate and effectively implement improvement plans
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to plan and effectively implement strategies

Experience

• Experience in manufacturing environment within technical support or production management
• Use of systems such as SH&E and quality systems
• Experience in identifying and implementing improvement
• Practical experience in a manufacturing plant in a technical or production role for 3+ years
• Leadership experience and some exposure to employee relations issues
• Managing budgets
